REPUBLIC DAY -26th
January 2019
Republic Day was celebrated on 26th
January. Indian Flag was unfurled by our Principal Dr. A.G.
Nataraj& followed by Indian National Anthem. Around 280 students & faculty members were present at the
event. Our Principal Dr. A.G. Nataraj later addressed the gathering. Republic day of India signifies the
formation on the world’s largest democracy. It is on this day that our constitution was bestowed on our
nation.

One nation youth celebration at RV dental college on 15th
Aug 2018
One nation youth was celebrated at RV dental college on 15th
August 2018.It provided a platform
for all the Youth to Unite to promote Community Development, Social Change, Equality and
Transformation.

PEACE MESSANGER PROGRAM
Peace messenger program was organized by the PrajapitaBramaKumaris (Ishwariya Vishwa
Vidalaya)Gottigree on 16th
November 2014 at our AMC Engineering College.to educate our students on
peace messenger.

Life skill training by Yuvaspandana - 1st March 2018
Life skill training by Yuvaspandana on 1st March 2018 organised in college with an objective how to
lead life with perfection. The participants were given training regarding self-discipline, stress
management skills of individuals. Mr. Prabhu delivered lecture on various skills to incorporate in life
practically by interacting with faculties. Around 120 Teaching and non-teaching faculties were
benefited by the programme.
5. Campus Cleaning-21-Feb-2018
Campus Clean - 3rd
November 2015
Campus Cleaning organized on 3rd
November 2015 in college with objective ‘Keep Cleanliness in
Surrounding’ to create awareness about clean environment and the health issues due to improper
management of waste in campus. Programme was headed by NSS officer and around200 students from all
dept. participated in the event.

7. Meditation by Art of Living on 17th August 2017
Meditation by Art of Living on 17th August 2017
Meditation programme by Art of Living, Kanakapura road was conducted at AMC Engineering
College for the first year students. Meditation and its benefits was taught to students by GurujiDr.
Vinod Kumar and team on 17th August 2017. Nearly 400 students had participated and benefited
by the program

INDEPENDENCE DAY
Independence Day was celebrated on 15th
August. Indian Flag was unfurled by our Principal Dr. T N
Srinivasa and followed by Indian National Anthem. Around 250 students & all faculty members were
present at the event. Our Principal Dr. T N Srinivasa later addressed the gathering. He touched upon the
importance of independence & how we as citizens should maintain it.
9.Donation for Orphanage:14.08.2017
Donation for Orphanage
Donation for orphanage was contributed by the students and faculties of AMC engineering
college. Books, pens, pencils, clothes, blankets, paste, biscuits were collected and distributed to
the orphanage on 14th August 2017.

International Day Against Drug Abuse on 14th
August 2017
International day of Drug Abuse awareness program was held in college by Kadamba’s Hospital
Kaggalipura Road on 14th
August 2017 and nearly 450 students participated in the event. Mr. Sudarshan
from Bangalore (2nd
from right) address on Negative impact of drug in the society, how to avoid the usage
and what are the medications, treatment available to overcome the drug abuse.

FIRE BRIGADE DEMONSTRATION
Fire Brigade demonstration organized on 18th
April 2017by the . Nearly 1200 students are gathered
on the occasion which gives idea of how to handle fire in emergency cases with safety precautions.

SELF DEFENSE FOR WOMEN - 8 march 2017
Self defence for women was demonstrated and trained by Mr.Adithya at our AMC campus on an
occasion of Women's Day celebration on 8 march 2017 and nearly 180 ladies staff members and girls
students had participated in the event.

Health Checkup - 30th
January 2017
Health checkup was organised by the Times of India Group for staff and students of AMC campus on 30th
January 2017Initiating good health maintaining for staff members around 250 members got benefited from
the event. Blood pressure check up and other issues serviced on spot

WORLD DISABLED DAY - 28 January 2017
World disabled day was jointly organised by VeeraAnjaneya Handicapped Welfare Association and
NSS Unit,AMCECat our AMC seminar hall on 28 January 2017 nearly 430 handicapped personal had
participated in the event.

Kannada Rajyothsava - 1st Nov, 2016
Kannada Rajyotsava was organised at AMC engineering college on 1st November 2016. All the staff and
students had participated in the event. This was the day in 1956 when all the Kannada language speaking
regions of South India were mergedto form the state of Karnataka.

Road Safety Awareness - 27th
September 2016
Road safety awareness programme was organised by The Road Transport Office of Electronic City at AMC
seminar hall on 27th
September 2016 and nearly 480 drivers of in and around schools and colleges at
Bannerghatta Road had participated in the event and benefitted with program objective.

INDEPEDENCE DAY - 15th
August 2016
Independence Day was celebrated on 15th
August. Indian Flag was unfurled by our Principal Dr. T N
Srinivasa and SP of Bannerghatta followed by Indian National Anthem. Around 250 students & all faculty
members were present at the event. Our Principal Dr. T N Srinivasa and SP later addressed the gathering. He
touched upon the importance of independence & how we as citizens should maintain it. On this day
plantation of sapling is done by SP Banneraghatta.
19. Plantation- 29th Jan 2019
Plantation at Lalbhag through AIKYA on 29th
January 2019
AMC students volunteered for plantation of saplings at Lalbhag Botanical Garden on 29th
January 2019. 50 students had participated.

Yoga Day - 21st June 2016
On 21st June 2016 Yoga day was celebrated at our AMC campus by Sri Patanjali yoga shikshanamandala.
Nearly 180 staff, students and volunteers participated in the special event. Basic yoga asanas were taught to
the participants.

Swatch Bharath - 9th
May 2016
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was organised on 9th May 2016. Nearly 480 volunteers had participated in the
event including the HOD, staff and students of AMC engineering college. It is the cleaniless drive to keep
our environment clean.

Blood Donation Camp - 5th
May 2016
Voluntary Blood donation camp was organized on 5th May 2016by Lions Club blood bank from Jigani and
had collected 146 units of blood. Around 150 students and 50 staff had volunteered for the blood donation.

heads of the department and students.Nearly 200 volunteers participated in the event

Awake India Programme on 14th September 2015
Awake India programme was conducted on 14th September 2015 at AMC Engineering College. Chief Guest
for the event was Mr.Venu Kumar V, President of Indian student strength trust. Nearly 400 volunteers
participated in the program.

AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAMME
Aids awareness programme was organised by the government district hospital from anekal focusing
on preventing the transmission of hiv through a complementary combination of behavioural, biomedical and
structural strategies. it was conducted on 13th December 2014. 350 volunteers had participated

WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY
World Mental Health day was organised at AMC engineering college campus by the Government
Hospital and lecture was delivered by DrMurali Krishna on 10th October 2014.The overall objective was
raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental
health. Nearly 350 students and staff had participated in the event.
