The Institute for Patient Safety & Quality offers regularly scheduled training and educational programs on patient safety and quality under the framework of AM-EPIC (Academic Medicine – Enhancing Performance, Improving Care).

Participants will have an opportunity to:

o Be inspired by arts.

o Enhance self-awareness.

o Learn self-care through reflection, compassion, and

gratitude.

o Share and discuss how to apply these practices at work

and in daily lives.

o Open to all learners. o No artmaking and art experience are necessary.

DURATION o 30 mins.

COURSE FEE o SingHealth and Duke-NUS Staff: Waived.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

This programme designed to provide participants with the opportunity to mindfully reflect, refresh and recharge through

the arts and embodiment practices. These sessions support self-care and mental well-being through increasing insights and

self-awareness around your body and mind.

iTHRIVE - ARTpreciate programme is made possible by The CARE Collection, Caring through the Arts by National Gallery

Singapore and Singapore Art Museum.

Participants will be introduced to a series of breathing exercises including Mindfulness of Breath and Body, Practice of Gratitude and Compassion, Sharing and Setting intention.
