Company Mission

To develop and commercialize its proprietary technology and products, which are based on a patentable electronic measurement component

Team

The development group consists of highly experienced engineers in the following fields of activity:

Hardware Engineering Mechanical Engineering Test Engineering

Technology

A unique measurement device based on new technology that has no analogs in the entire world.

Distinguishing features

The EPMC permits SMT design even for big currents. No additional soldering process is required, only

reflow. The EPMC permits to reduce the assembled card

height. Reduced heights of the cards permit to insert more

cards in the same rack. The EPMC is more compact, saving Printed Circuit

Board area. It is easy to customize the component if the

customer has special needs.

Distinguishing features (cont’d)

By increasing the primary current the dimensions of the sensor are not increasing significantly.

Completely linear without saturation. Completely symmetrical without false operation. Highest accuracy (the target is ±0.05%). SMT for all ranges of current.

Distinguishing features (cont’d)

New technology, only one technological process is used.

Small dimensions save PCB area. No further amplification and signal processing

is needed. Unmatched parameters consistency. Minimum electromagnetic interference. Wide operating temperature range.

Current Technology

Disadvantages of existing technologies:

By increasing the primary current the diameter of the primary wire and the dimensions of the sensor are increasing significantly.

A magnetic material with saturation gives non linearity of measurement and saturation at big currents.

A non symmetrical position of wires in RC Devices causes false operation.

Very low accuracy (±10% in standard devices, 0,2% in calibration devices).

Through hole devices. SMT devices only for low currents.

Current Technology (cont’d)

Disadvantages of existing technologies :

Through hole devices – old technology, two technological processes must be used.

Through hole devices with a magnetic material have large dimensions.

Output voltage is measured in 5-10 mV (very low). Output voltage needs amplification and signal processing.

No consistency in parameters. Maximum electromagnetic interference. Restricted operating temperature range.

The Need

The existing technologies do not provide sufficient accuracy

Also, they do not provide signal processing and need additional components

Therefore, there is a need for a new technology that will provide the needed parameters.

The proposed device aim to overcome the disadvantages of the existing devices.

Patent Status.

a. A patent search was performed: no such device is patented. The EPMC is patentable.

b. From the point of view of somebody's rights violation: we do not violate any rights of anybody.

Size of the Market

There are more than 8800 manufacturers of the old technologies current transformers in the entire world.

The current transformers market is more than 8 billions $US.

It is very difficult to evaluate the market for other EPMC applications because the numbers are huge.

The total world market is measured in Billions of $US.

Alliance with StrategicPartner

A.L.F. Enterprise is looking for a future development and marketing alliance with a partner that produces technical and mechanical electronic components of the highest quality.
