the search for perfectionAccording to myth, alchemists had the power to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. They strove to uncover the secret formula to create gold, which symbolised perfection both in a material and spiritual sense. Like those mysterious scientists, we want to combine different elements to create a special and striking synthesis, something that surpasses its individual components.

missionAlchemist’s mission is to combine high-fashion with an ethical lifestyle, as founder Caroline Mewe believes fashion and ethical business practices to be equally important. But can you really surprise people with sustaina-ble fashion? Of course you can! “Bold trousers made with refined organic cotton - aren’t they amazing?!” Alchemist aims to inspire, not dictate.

peopleOver the past years, while visiting our production-partners, we’ve met fantastic people all over the world. Everyday we feel blessed to have the possibility to work together. We’ve learned that people are the same all over the world. People seem to worry about the same things, and people seem to be happy about the same things.For all these people, and for our children, we shall always commit our-selves to making the collection with the greatest possible respect for people and the environment.
