EVERY HORSE MUST HAVE A STALL
Early Stalls: $125 per stall – postmarked by July 1, 2012
Late Stalls: $175 per stall – postmarked after July 1, 2012
Stall locations assigned by management. All special requests must be made
by July 1, 2012. Stalls will be reserved under the name of the person making
payment. Exhibitors must check in with the show office for stalling
assignments. Stall assignments will be made based on the order received.

BEDDING
Shavings are $9.00 per bag, can be pre-paid with entries. Shavings will also
be available at the show for the same price. No outside bedding allowed.

ENTRY FEES and DEADLINES
All pre-entries for the show must be postmarked on or before July 15,
2012. Entries postmarked after July 15th will be charged a one-time $50 per
horse late fee. Pre-entered horses may add classes at the show without
penalty.
Open/Novice Am/Amateur/WT Amateur
$10 per class per judge
Amateurs/Nov. Am – No cross over fees to open classes on the same
horse/exhibitor combination.
$10 per class per judge or $39 flat fee per judge
Novice Youth/Youth/WT youth – No cross over fees to open classes on the
same horse/exhibitor combination
$8 per class per judge or $29 flat fee per judge
All Day Horse Fee – One horse, multiple exhibitors, multiple divisions –
$59 flat fee per judge
Lead-line $4 per judge
Goat Tying: $5 livestock fee per run
Office charge: $10 per horse per judge
Pattern Books: $5 each
Laminated number - $5 per set, monies go to the Kansas Amateurs

WWPHC Show Rules
Adding Classes
Individuals may add a class until 6 pm the night before the class is to be held. All
fees must be paid at the time of entry by either an open signed check or credit card
information left in the office. Once a horse is entered (and paid) into the show,
there are no late fees to add classes. Late additions to classes (after the 6 pm night
before the class is held) must be approved by show management.
Arena Gate Calls/Holding Pen Procedure
There will be a holding pen for all classes. A two-minute holding pen call will be
enforced . Working orders will be posted at least one hour prior to the class being
held. Only exhibitors will be allowed in the holding pen. No spraying in the holding
pen or alley way. Halter classes will have a one-minute gate call.
Awards
Points will be calculated according to APHA rules SC-150, AM-1001 and YP-095.
Class Awards:
Will be given for each class offered. To be eligible for class awards the
exhibitor is required to show to all judges for which the class is offered. Open
exhibitor – 8 judges, all others – 12 judges.
High Point and Reserve High Point awards will be given for the following:
Open, Solid Paint Bred Open, Solid Paint Bred Amateur, Classic Amateur,
Masters Amateur, Novice Amateur, Amateur Walk-Trot, Youth 14-18, Youth 13 &
under, Novice Youth, and Walk-Trot Youth.
To be eligible for High Point Awards, all but Open exhibitors must show halter and
three performance classes to all 12 judges, shows A, B, & C. Open exhibitors must
show halter and three performance classes to all 8 judges, shows A, B & C. Halter
and three performance classes are required for ALL high point awards, including
novice and walk-trot awards. The horse must be shown in its respective youth or
amateur class to be eligible for high point awards.

Award Presentations
In individual working classes, exhibitors are required to return to the arena for the
awards presentation upon completion of judging. Exhibitors wishing to have
awards shipped to them will be assessed shipping charges.
Breaks
If time permits, any break(s) will be announced daily by the announcer.
Class Patterns
Patterns will be available in the office for $5. Patterns will be posted near the
arena. Pattern books may be prepaid with entries and will be available at check in.
Class Splits/Working Orders
Rail classes will be split into at least two goes when there are 20 or more entries.
Working orders for classes will be posted at the Show Office and by the arena.
Working orders are a random, computerized draw. The working order will be
followed. Should an exhibitor miss his/her slot to work, they may be disqualified
from the class.
Combining or Dividing Classes
Combining or dividing classes will be at the discretion of show management and
follow all APHA rules as outlined in the 2012 APHA Rulebook.
Disqualification
Any exhibitor, horse or owner disqualified from a class for any reason, will not be
eligible for a refund. When disqualification is made by Show Management or any
Show Official, their decision is final.
Dogs
All dogs are to be confined or tethered by a leash. Loose dogs will be subject to
pick-up and fines by local animal control.
Drug Testing & Tail Testing
APHA rules for drug testing and tail testing will be strictly adhered to.

Exhibitor Agreement
By submitting an entry, an exhibitor agrees to abide by all rules as set forth by the
APHA, KPHA and MPHC when entering classes sanctioned by any of these
organizations. All decisions made by Show Management are final.
Final Interpretation of Rules
The show will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the
American Paint Horse Association Official Rule Book. Sitting members of the
WWPHC Committee, who are present at the time, or show management will
adjudicate any dispute not covered by the APHA rules. Their decision will be final.
Any person(s), farm, ranch or partnership under suspension by the American Paint
Horse Association, or having outstanding debts to KPHA, MPHC or WWPHC shall not
be permitted to exhibit in any class at the WWPHC or be on the premises during the
WWPHC.
Funds
All payments must be made payable to the WWPHC in U.S. Funds. Foreign entrants
are required to pay in the manner specified below:
U.S. currency OR
Check drawn on a U.S. bank OR
World or international money order.
Credit/Debit Cards
Payments may be made using Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. There is a 3%
convenience fee, rounded up to the next full dollar. Must include the 3 or 4 digit
security code from the back of the card.
Policies on Check Cashing
The KPHA and MPHC will not cash any personal checks.
Individual Judge Placing Ribbons
Ribbons for individual judge’s placing in all classes will be available for pickup in the
show office.
Missouri Health Requirements
Current Coggins and Health Papers are required. An Equine Passport issued within
6 months of the last day of the show is acceptable. Exhibitors/owners/trainers are
responsible for being aware of any animal health requirements for the state of
Missouri.
Liability
The KPHA and MPHC will in no way be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to
horses exhibited or any article of any kind that may be lost, stolen, destroyed or in
any way injured. Each exhibitor will be solely responsible for any loss, injury, or
damage done to, occasioned by, or arising from any horses or article owned or
exhibited by him/her. The exhibitor shall indemnify the KPHA and MPHC and their
employees against all legal or other proceedings, claims or demands of any kind or
nature in regards thereto or that may arise from negligence of person in charge of
any such horses or articles. By entering the show and/or arriving at the show
grounds, you agree to the above release of liability.
Postmarks and Late Entry Charges
Only postmarks from an official Post Office are acceptable, postal meters are not
acceptable; and will be used in determining any and all deadlines regarding entries,
stall reservations, etc. Dates on emailed or faxed items will be used in lieu of
postmarks, if they are accompanied with the appropriate electronic payments.
Postmark dates on certified or registered mail will be accepted.
Refunds – Entry Fees Refunds will only be considered due to injury or illness of a horse or rider. All
refund requests must be on an official WWPHC refund request form and
accompanied by a veterinarian or physician’s written statement on their letterhead.
All refund requests must be submitted to the Show Secretary prior to the start of
the horse show. The Refund Request form is available from the Show Secretary or
on the website www.kansaspainthorse.com. The only refunds considered after the
start of the show will be in the event of death.
If mailed, the refund request must be postmarked by July 25, 2012. NO
EXCEPTIONS. No refund allowances may be used at the show. If a horse is
disqualified from showing by the Show Management or Officials, or if a horse is
entered and not shown, all fees will be forfeited. Once a refund is requested, the
original horse entered my not be shown in any class for the remainder of the show.
Substitutions for an injured horse may be made at no penalty until 6 pm the night
before the scheduled class. Refunds for $25 and under will not be paid. There will
be no refunds on scratched classes.
Regular Class Refunds Refund requests postmarked on or before July 15
th, 2012, with proper
documentation, will be considered for a refund of 100% of each class entry fee and
stock fees. No office charges will be refunded. Refund requests postmarked after
July 15, 2012 and postmarked by July 25, 2012, with proper documentation, will be
considered for a refund of 75% of each class entry fee. Absolutely no office
charges will be refunded.
Stall Refunds
Post marked on or before July 1, 2012: Will be entitled to a refund of 100% of each stall less a $5 per stall handling fee. 100% of the shavings will be refunded.
Postmarked July 2, 2012 to July 15, 2012 Will be entitled to a refund of 75% of each stall. 100% of shavings will be refunded.
Postmarked July 16, 2012 to July 24, 2012: Will be entitled to a refund of 50% of each stall. 100% of shavings will be refunded.
After July 24, 2012: No refunds will be given for stalls or shavings.
Returned Checks
Any check returned to the WWPHC office for any reason, will necessitate payment
by certified funds, as well as a $30.00 returned check charge or stop payment
charge in order for entries to be processed. If the situation is not rectified prior to
arriving at the horse show, the agent/owner must bring certified funds to the Horse
Show Office for the entries to be processed. Any applicable late fees will also be
applied due to the returned check(s). Parties who have had checks returned in
prior years to the WWPHC, MPHC or KPHA will be required to submit entries using
certified funds.
Right To Refuse
In accordance with APHA Rules, show management reserves the right to refuse,
accept conditionally, or cancel any entries, also to disqualify exhibitors, prohibit
exhibition of entries and cancel awards without damage.
RV Hookups
Recreational vehicle hookups are handled through the American Royal and are on a
“first come, first served” basis. Contact: Al Davis: (816) 221-9800
Schedule Changes
The show management reserves the right, if necessary, before or during the show,
to make schedule changes, cancel or combine classes when less than three entries
are received, after the first entry deadline, without liability. However, no class will
start before the posted time. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to be informed of
any schedule or venue changes. If an exhibitor(s) chooses to not exhibit in a
combined class when show management deems necessary, he/she will not receive
a refund. However, if the class is cancelled by show management, a refund will be
given.
Security
Security of personal property (horses, tack, trailer, vehicles, etc.) is the
responsibility of each individual.
Show Office Hours
Show office will be open 90 minutes prior to show times and until the end of
competition each day. The show secretary will be available from noon until 10pm
on Tuesday, July 24, 2012. All business must be conducted during those hours.
Note: Entries close at 6pm the night before the class is scheduled.
Stall Office
The stalls and shavings sales will be coordinated through the main show office.
There will be someone available beginning on Tuesday at 8 am.
Substitutions
Any substitutions of horse or rider must be coordinated through the show office.
Tack Changes
A maximum time period of three minutes after the final class call will be allowed for
tack changes. Tack changes must be requested in advance through the gate person
or the two minute gate rule will apply. Tack changes will retire to the holding pen
to complete the change.
Tie-Breaker System
A tie-breaker judge will be designated by show management and remain in effect
for the entirety of the show.
Overall Congress Champion and Reserve Congress Champion Stallion, Mare, and
Gelding will be determined first by the horse with the most Grands, then the most
Reserves, if a tie still exists, then the tiebreaker judge will be utilized.
Timer Failure
A backup stop watch will be used. See Rule SC-185.K.
