Agyness Deyn (born Laura

Hollins)

English fashion model from

Littleborough, near

Rochdale in Lancashire.

She is renowned for her

rock ‘n’ roll, androgynous

, effortlessly look.

At an early age Agyness Deyn had a eye for style.

By the age of 17 she had shaved her head.

In 1999, she won the Possendle Free Post “Face of

‘99” competiton, aged 16.

Deyn’s biography states she was scouted while

shopping with fashion designer Henry Holland in

Kentish Town, London by SELECT models management.

Deyne was featured on the front cover of US

Vogue with Coco Rocha, Jessica Stam, Chanel

Iman among other in May 2007. She has since

appeared in almost all the major fashion

titles, aswell as hitting the catwalk for

designers such as Anna Sui, Mulberry, Paul

Smith and Vivienne Westwood.

Agyness

is

known

for

being

something of a

chameleon when

it comes to

her look. Her

hair has been

blonde, red,

brown and black

throughtout her

modelling career.

Although she

usually sports

short hair, she

has also had a

bob and bowl cut.

In 2010, Deyn

landed her

first film

role, appearing

as Goddess

Aphrodite in the

Clash Of The

Titans remake.

Agyness Deyn collaborated

with her sister Emily on

a range on t-shirts for

the company Uniqlo in

April 2010. The T-shirts

featured polaroids taken

by the pair while in New

York and they added hand

written quirky quotes to

go along side. Uniqlo had

atually asked Agyness if

she would like to her own

range and she recommended

her sister for the job.

The wedding of

Agyness Deyn

and Giovanni

Ribisi came as

a shock to many

in June 2012. It

was not public

knowledge that

they were even

dating. They wed

in Los Angeles

and Deyn’s best

friend, Henry

Holland flew

out shortly after to congratutualte the couple. He tweeted “Just landed in LA LA land can’t wait to

see @AggyDeyn,”
