Subject: Purchase of a 1-ton Pickup Truck Department: Fire Department Bids were solicited for the purchase of a 1-ton Pickup Truck to replace the current truck used. Bid requests were sent to the following dealerships: Nevada Auto Mall (Nevada, Mo), Fugate Motors (El Dorado Springs, Mo), Republic Ford (Republic, Mo), and Max Motors (Nevada, Mo). A total of two bids were received for the project, both vehicles meet the minimum specifications and state a 12-16 week delivery time frame. Republic Ford, (Ford F-350) - $44,582.00 Max Motors, (Chevy 3500) - $47,500.00 I would like approval to purchase the Republic Ford, (Ford F-350) which met all the minimum specifications, for the price of $44,582.00. Funding for the purchase will be from account: 100-5-2200-327
