I believe that education, knowledge and the ability to apply knowledge are what affords individuals the capacity to be healthy(in both body and mind) and to have options and choices throughout life. I believe that leaders in public education have an obligation to ensure that ALL children receive a rigorous, high quality education that affords them the ability to be healthy, to learn, grow and have options and choices throughout their lives.
