9

ADVANTAGES OF TENSILE STRUCTURES

Large span covering with consequently less use of additional

support structure

10

Tensile Architecture compared to classical

construction materials Involves use of a smaller amount of

materials/mass, prefabricated = less execution time

11

Tensile architecture compared to classical architecture

solutions recreates natural light condition generating

positive, safer life ambiences

12

Tensile architecture compared to classical architecture

solutions Recreates weightless and natural forms,

generate innovative eye-catch architecture

13

Social

Ecological

Economic

Tensile architecture compared to classical

architecture solutions has lower environment impact:

Economic, ecological and therefore socially compatible

In case of Fire

The fire performances of materials are classified based on their performances

in case of fire dictated by the material behavior of the project requirements.

As we know, PVC will melt with non-drops consequences at lower

temperature than other high Fire Rated roofing materials.

Other conventional roofsPVC-PES

Fire Retardant

21

Light and thermal transmission performances

PES-PVDF

Measurement of light

transmission at 550

nanometers is giving

real transmission

grade.

Other artificial testing

methods can mislead

the real value of the

output data.

Flexibility performances

NO CRACKS between -5° and +70°

We believe that the preservation of the environment is

much more than “waste management” as may be the

case of the sole recycling tasks.

Mehler Texnologies, as one of the largest coating

company in the world, is participating actively with the

EU Commissions as partner of Vinyl 2010 and

respecting in full the REACH regulations.

This commitment covers the entire lifecycle of PVC

and PVC products and represents for Mehler

Texnologies a set of guidelines for acting in a

sustainable manner.

approved materials

warrant immission into

the market of selected

primary compounds.

Via the EPCoat

collection system post-

consumer waste is

gathered together,

mechanically processed

and made by thermo-

physical means into

new products.
