Welcome to Splish Splash! We want allGuests to have an enjoyable day and havecreated this guide to assist Guests withdisabilities so they may plan their dayaccordingly. Thisguideoutlines the servicesweofferaswellasprovidessuggestedpathsof travel, ride requirements, and generalinformation.ThroughoutSplishSplash,pathsof travelaredesignatedwithappropriatesignage. Pleasereviewall posted attraction safety rules andrequirements prior to participating. Ingeneral,personswithanymedical,healthorself-imposed restrictions on their physicalactivity, are frail, overweight for their bodytype, or underdoctor’s care, shouldnotusethe attractions. For safety reasons, pleasefollow the Lifeguard’s instructions at alltimes. Life jackets are available free ofchargeatGuestServices.Youmayalsousealifejacketfromthebinsinfrontofeachwavepoolfreeofcharge,buttheselifejacketsareonlyallowedinourwavepools.Only you know your own swimming ability,andthatofyourchildrenandanyoneyouaresupervising. We strongly recommend allGuests under 48” or who areweak or non-swimmers wear Coast Guard approved lifejackets. We suggest that supervisingcompanionskeepGuestsrequiringassistancewithin arms- reach and under closesupervisionduringallwateractivities. Ifyoumay need any additional assistancethroughout your visit, please go to GuestServicestospeakwithaParkManagerasitisourprioritythatyourvisitisasbarrier-freeaspossible.

ACCESSIBILITYGUIDESERVICES

1. Handicap accessible parking is provided.Please ask the Toll Attendant for the exactlocation. Permits are required to use theseparkingspaces.Regularparkingfeesapply.

2. First Aid is located on the restaurant decknear the main plaza and may be used toaccommodate storage for prescribedmedicationsand/orserveasaprivateareaformedicalnecessities.

3. Although outside food andbeverage are notpermitted inside the park, individuals withspecial dietary needs due to a medicalcondition will be permitted to bring in twosandwichbagsizecontainers.Coolersarenotpermitted. Guests arepermitted to exit andreturnthroughoutthedaywithahandstamp.

4. All restrooms have wheelchair accessiblestalls. The three restroom locations are theMainPlaza restroom, DooDrop Inn and FortPeoriarestroom.

5. A limitedamountofaquaticwheelchairs areavailableforGueststobeusedfreeofcharge.Theaquaticwheelchairisusedtosafelyenterand exit thewater. These areprovidedon afirst come first serve basis and may not bereserved inadvance. TheaquaticwheelchairmaybeusedatKahunaBayorSurfCitywavepools. If desired, Guests may use theirpersonal wheelchair. Guests using awheelchair will be permitted in water depthnot to exceed the seat of the chair. We doalso have regular wheelchairs available forrentatGuestServices.

6. There are two self-service pool lifts availableforuse. One lift is locatedat SoakCity. ThesecondliftislocatedattheLazyRiver.Atubewill be provided for Guests transferring intotheLazyRiver.

7. Service animalsmustbephysicallycontrolledon a leash or harness at all times. Serviceanimals are not permitted in pools or onattractions. AServiceAnimal relief station islocatedattheentranceoutsidethegate.

8. Accessibleseatingisprovidedatallrestaurantlocationsincludingtherestaurantdeck,PicnicGrovecateringarea,andJohnnyRocket’s.

RideAdmissionEach attraction has specific requirementsestablished by the ride manufacturer. Theserequirementsvaryridetorideandarepostedateach attraction. In general, admission isrestrictedbyheight,weight,medicalconditions,and appropriate behavior. In order toparticipate on all slide attractions, Guestsmusthave independent head and neck control, fullbody control, and the ability to brace andbalance. In addition to the requirements listedabove, Guests participating on tube attractionsmustbeabletograspandholdonwithat leastonehandandmaintainanuprightseatedridingposition.Guestsmustbeabletoclimbtheslidetower unassisted to participate on all slideattractions.Please visit: www.splishsplash.com for the ridedescriptions,height,andweightrequirements.ProstheticDevicesProsthetic Devices must be evaluated by ParkManagementpriortoparticipationonanyslides.As long as theGuest can ensure the prostheticdevice is secure and that there is not anyexposed metal, it may be permitted on someattractions.CastsandBracesGuestswithcastsorbraceswillberestrictedfromridingwhenrequiredbythemanufacturer.Guestswithcastsmayberequiredtoaddpaddingtoensurethesafetyofallparticipants.Guestswithfullarm(elbowrestricted)andfullleg(kneerestricted)castsorbracesarerestrictedfrommostattractionsandslides.Wesuggestyoudelayyourvisituntilthecastisremoved.

GuestswithAutismSpectrumDisorderDue to the design of waterslides there are notaccessibleattractionexits,requiringGuestswithautism spectrum disorder and mobilitylimitationstowaitinline.Severalattractionsdonot have lines including Kahuna Bay, Surf City,Soak City and Octopus Pool. Please plan yourdayaccordinglyandletusknowifyouneedanyadditionalassistance.
