EITHealthAcceleratorProjectsThisPre-CallisintendedtogiveanoverviewoncompositionandaccessibilityoftheEITHealthacceleratoractivities:

1. For2016,thispre-callshowshowstart-upsandentrepreneurscanapplyforparticipationorfunding.Selectionprocessesanddeadlinesaresetindividuallyforeachproject.

2. For2017,thispre-callshowshowEITHealthpartnerinstitutionscanapplytobeinvolvedinthe2017activitiesandprojects.HostinginstitutionsforAccelerator2017willbechoseninAugust2016.Thecallforprojects2017willrefertoouronlineplatformEITHealthPlazastartingonApril1st,deadlinewillbeMay16th2016.

Informationonactivitydesignprovidedbythispre-callmightstillbeslightlyadapteduntilApril1st.ThecallonApril1stwillbebasedonthefinalEITHealthPlazadesign.

1. AcceleratorCoreActivities1.1 PoC/HSProjects

Acombinedfundof2,5M€willbedistributedevenlybetween6CLCsandtheInnostars,whiletheCLCswillhavesignificantfreedomforevaluationandselectionprocesses.Thegrantsupportstheapplicantinrealizingabreakthroughsteptowardsthemarket.Moreover,therequirementtowardstheapplicantsistodescribewhatthenextstepsafterthegrantwillbe,underpinningwhythegrantissoimportant.

1.2 InvestorsNetwork(EITHealthPrivateEquityCommunity)Theaimistoincreasetheinvestmentofprivatecapitalininvestment-readyprojects,start-upsandSMEswithinEITHealth’sscopetospinout70newcompaniesandbusinessideasperannum.

Build-up,coordinationandexpansionofbusinessangelandcorporatefinancingnetworkswillberealizedbytheidentificationandsignatureofagreementswithrelevantbusinessangelnetworks.

2. AcceleratorCoachingActivities2.1 Launchlab

LaunchLabparticipantstestthecommercialfeasibilityoftheiridea.Theprogrammeprovidesyounginnovatorswithtoolsandcoachingtostartapromisingcompany.After2months(July&August),ascalablebusinessmodelcanbebuiltaroundyourideaandwillbetestedintherelevantmarketwithpotentiallaunchingcustomersandbusinesspartners.AllCLC/Innostarcentreswillbeactivelyengagedinordertoensurethatparticipantsfromthroughouttheconsortiumwilltakepartinthispan-consortiumflagshipprogramme.

7. GuidelinesforEligibilityCriteria:7.1 Besubmittedbeforethedeadline(s)asdeterminedbythe

8. Outcomequalityrequirements

8.1 PriorityshouldbemeasuredonhighqualityoutcomesandcontributiontoKPIs,notonscientificexcellence.

8.2 ProjectsshouldcontributetoandbeinlinewiththeEITHealthportfolio.

8.3 Projectsshouldsatisfactorilycontributetoanincreasedtechnologyreadinesslevelorimprovedmarketaccessofcoachedbusinessideas,productsorservices.

9. Reviewofprojectsandactivities9.1 Eachprojectmustdocumenttheunderlyingprocessand

success(e.g.,participationselectioncriteria,outcomes,contributiontoKPIs).

9.2 Acceleratorcoreactivitieswillbetosharethebestpracticeexamples.

9.3 Thefinalacceleratorprojectportfolioforthebusinessplan2017willbedeterminedbyMBandSB.
