AGBA’s Profile:
The Academy for Global Business Advancement (AGBA) – (a not for profit NGO, incorporated
and registered in the state of Texas, USA) is a worldwide network of professionals committed
to facilitate dissemination of scholarly research findings in the field of business and
entrepreneurship development. The main purpose of AGBA is to provide ongoing open forum to
discuss and analyze business and entrepreneurship development from different perspectives
and viewpoints in order to improve understanding of underlying forces that (1) impact global
developments and (2) shape the destiny of developing countries such as Bangladesh, Sri
Lanka, Turkey, Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, UAE, Malaysia etc. in the
contemporary globalized economy. AGBA bridges geographic, cultural, disciplinary, and
professional gaps by integrating different business disciplines while actively enhancing
practitioner-academician interactions on a regional and global basis. AGBA is sponsored by
numerous universities, organizations, and agencies across US, EU, Asia and Africa.
BUBT, Bangladesh:
Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) is one of the leading Government
and UGC approved universities of Bangladesh that has committed itself to providing education
of outstanding quality and training relevant to the needs of modern society since its very
inception in the year 2003. BUBT is now a globally recognized University in the private sector
of Bangladesh. At present it has 12 departments in 5 faculties with 22 undergraduate and
graduate programs which are attended by around 10,000 students. BUBT has a “Research
Centre” and publishes academic journal named “BUBT Journal” (ISSN 2072-7542) regularly.

conference" in order to enjoy special conference discount. You MUST reserve your hotel
room(s) before October 1, 2016 in order to enjoy special AGBA conference rate as all rooms
reserved for AGBA delegates would be released to the general public on October 2, 2016.
Bangladesh Tourist Visa:
Delegates holding Western passports are granted Bangladeshi tourist visa on arrival at the
Dhaka International Airport. Delegates holding other kinds of passports can check their
eligibility for tourist visa by cruising the following website
(http://bangladesh.travisa.com/VisaInstructions.aspx?CitizenshipID=US&CountryID=BD&Trave
lerTypeID=TO&ResidenceID=AUS&PartnerID=TA). You can also obtain Bangladeshi tourist visa
from nearby Bangladeshi diplomatic mission (embassy). Delegates are requested not to
mention our conference on any tourist visa application. Bangladeshi tourist visa is super
easy to acquire as it is a tourist friendly country and it is super convenient to acquire
Bangladeshi tourist visa without any hassle whatsoever. Indian citizens, for example, get free
tourist visa on arrival at the Dhaka airport.
Payment of Registration Fees:
At least one author of an accepted paper should register for the paper to be included in the
presentation session and appeared in the conference proceedings. The authors of the only
accepted papers will be notified in detail (last date and mode of payment) to pay their
conference registration fees later on.
Journal Publication Opportunities:
Best papers presented at our conference would be published in the special issues of the

We welcome the submission of manuscripts that address the conference theme with a focus on
one of the industry sectors as well as all functional areas of Business Administration and
entrepreneurship (e.g. accounting, economics, operations management, finance, management,
marketing, international business and hospitality and tourism management):

Submission Guidelines: Paper Submission Deadline is September 1, 2016
Scholarly may submit four types of papers: (i) competitive papers, (ii) working papers
(research-in-progress), (iii) doctoral colloquium papers, and (iv) cases. When submitting
your paper(s), kindly mention the type of your paper/case.
Irrespective of the type of paper submitted, all papers ought to use 11 point Times
Roman font; A4 format with 2.5 cm margin on all sides; the word count excludes
abstract, references and any of the appendices. A cover page should indicate the title of
the paper, the name(s) of the author(s), and their affiliation(s). The first page should
start with the title of the paper only, followed by an abstract not exceeding 150 words.
The length of the paper should be around 30 pages.
Paper submissions should follow the style guidelines of the Journal of International
Business Studies (http://www.palgrave-journals.com/jibs/index.html) and must include
a full list of all references cited in the paper.
AGBA also invites participation from entrepreneurs, government officials, business
professionals, consultants, and heads of major government-owned and private
enterprises from across the world for global business interactions, networking and
negotiations.
Papers should be submitted in English language only.
