Birthday Celebrations
The last Friday of every month 1:00-1:30 Please let me know ahead of time if you
plan to bring a treat Plan for 25 students Invitations cannot be distributed during
school hours.
Snack and Water
Water bottles can stay on their desks throughout day. No juice or colored drinks.
Children can bring their own snack. No desserts or sugary snacks please.
Homework Spelling Homework: Comes home on Thursdays and is due the
following Thursday. Tests are on Thursday. Book Bags: Come home on Thursday and are due the following
Thursday. Math Homework: Sent home on Thursday and due the following
Thursday 10/10 = complete homework turned in on time, points deducted
for late or incomplete work, 0/10 = homework not turned in Sight Words: Assessed monthly. See my website for materials. Reading Minutes Sheet: 20 minutes per night.
Behavior
Classroom Essential Agreement: I promise to show respect, integrity and commitment.
Praise the Positive Tokens Negative behavior is addressed as needed
with natural consequences. If the same negative behavior is addressed more than once, the student will bring home a “I Want to Make Things Right” form.
Conferences
Scheduled in October and February Feel free to contact me anytime to schedule
a conference, as needed. Please let me know if you are running late
or need to cancel. Conferences are scheduled back to back and I stay on time. Therefore, if you are running late, please understand that we might have to reschedule.
Going Home
If your child goes home a different way than usual, you must send a written note. Otherwise, we have to send them home the usual way.
If your child goes home with someone who is not in Infinite Campus, you need to send a written note. Otherwise, we cannot release your child with that person.
