We, AARAS SHIPPING AGENCIES (Pvt.) Ltd recently Handled “GUDDU POWER (WAPDA) PROJECT” 747 MW Gross Combined Cycle Power Plant from the vessel “M.V. HONG QING” Under our AGENCY with complete discharging of cargo at Karachi Port.

GUDDU POWER PROJECT

We undertook to provide the total logistics solution

(DDU) including, the Vessel Handling, Discharging,

Heavy Lifting, Custom Clearance and Transportation till project site.

The vessel “M.V HONG QING” loaded from Shanghai (China) and arrived to Pakistan on 15th DEC 2012 and Berthed at Berth No. 21-East Wharf Karachi Port at 1230 Hrs.

The cargoes on the vessel

The vessel was carrying pair of Gas Turbine and Steam Generators with supportive equipment‘s, the total quantity of Cargo was 815 Packages with the gross weight 2595 Mtons and measurement of cargo was 6603.278 CBM.

THE DISCHARGING

The discharging process was commenced at 1320 hrs on 15 Dec and completed at 1215 hrs on 17 Dec 2012. We successfully complete the whole process of discharging within 48 hrs.

We stacked the cargoes in a safe and sound condition without any damage for convenient pickup and smooth loading into trucks & trailer .

THE SAILING OF THE VESSEL

After completing the discharging and stacking process, we were ready to let the vessel sail on 17th Dec 2012 at 1215 hrs for its next destination.

THE TRANSPORTATION OF CARGOES

Transportation of pair Gas Turbines and Steam Generator’s made through low bed trailer and rest of supportive equipment’s on standard trailer for the 650 kilo meter inland to project site.
