• 70% of people with dementia live at home, of which 30% live alone.
• Only 40% are officially diagnosed.
• The reason for moving to a nursing home is mostly the overburdening or absence of
a carer. In average the informal carer is 65 years old, 70% of them are female.

ICT/smart technologies offer enormous potential

• 1 year development for prototype/pilot and 1-2 years test with a considerable number of end-users
Business Plan
• Should include a clear description of the product or solution, the target group, the potential market and the business model, the required resources (human, material, financial) and a description how to go to market.
Ethics
• National ethical / legal frameworks – describe how to deal with ethical aspects related to involving people with dementia in the project

• Complete English proposal
• In electronic system according to template/rules
• Min. 3 organisations/companies from 3 AAL countries
• 1 for-profit business partner
• 1 for-profit SME which could also be a business partner
• 1 end user organisation
• 3-10 partners
• Duration: 12 – 36 months
