MTO RWSCU:Past Systems

 2003 - In-House Oracle Forms Application

 2008 - Next-Generation Compass Software

Primary function of past systems was to maintain a

database of approved notifications for web publication

and performance monitoringand performance monitoring

Placed a heavy burden on RWSCU staff to:

ensure the correctness of the submitted notifications

check for conformance with contract provisions

identify and resolve conflicts with nearby closures

 perform data entry

communications and materials

Benefit

Reduces rejection and resubmission

Reduces RWSCU data entry and results

in faster approval and earlier publication

of planned roadworkof planned roadwork

Enables contractors to stay informed

Simplifies administration
