Welcome to Ooka Island, where every child is a hero, tasked with finding missing books and helping Ooka Elves learn to read. While on their adventure, they will learn foundational reading skills needed to become confident readers.
Ooka Island’s adaptive learning technology analyzes a child’s progress and plots a personalized path.
Guided play consists of a series of fun reading games. Children can exit guided play at anytime and
pick up right where they last le� off.
Children explore and play on the island. They can re-visit any game or book of their choice. They can play with the Ooka Elves, listen to music,
and change their avatar.
Children are rewarded with language-rich eBooks in a built-in eReader. A�er reading the
story with highlighting and supportive narration, they complete a series of activities that help
develop vocabulary and comprehension.

THE OOKA ISLAND LIBRARY
Discover 85 original books available in a built-in eReader and in print.
Language-rich text with comprehension and vocabulary activities is the focal point of Ooka Island’s Popcorn Library. Once an eBook has been completed, it is saved in the Popcorn Library and can be re-read at any time. By game completion, children will have unlocked and collected 85 original Ooka Island books.
Additional tools available in print and online include: 10 fluency books, instructional guides, story game cards, book paths, reading worksheets, Ooka sing-along songs and completion certificates.
