where the river joins the sea it is very deep and dangerous.

The Surf Club• The surf club is the main beach in

Warrnambool and most of the beach activities are held there.

• There is a nippers club here too.

McGennans

• McGennans is another main beach but there are smaller waves.

• In summer some people come here to teach kids how to surf, as the small waves are good for learning.
