The Chennai Trekking Club
Established two years ago by a group of trekking enthusiasts
We organise treks on weekends, pan South India
We are a non-profit organisation - Expenses shared amongst participants & no profits are made

180 treks completed, 5 - 10 treks every month

Social Awareness Treks - Trekking for the underpreviliged - 15 completed
Environmental Awareness Treks - Mission SAVE TADA completed successfully
Clean & Green Chennai - Beach Cleanup - about 20 kms of the ECR planned for clean up
CTC’s TREK POLAMAA
First of it kind in the history of Chennai & South India
Primary Objective is to aid the locals & the professionals of the city to look at Trekking as an alternative form of entertainment & rejuvenation
Photography Exhibition to highlight the various achievements of CTC’s trekking till date
CTC’s TREK POLAMAA
Seminars & Live Demonstrations will highlight the various aids & activities that form part of the trekking activity
Live Demo & Display of various trekking gear for the benefit of the participants & the local community
Planting of saplings across Chennai planned to underline our commitment for a cleaner & greener Chennai

The event would be presided by: Mr. Napoleon, Union Minister of State Mr. Subramanian, Mayor of Chennai
The CTC family from Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad & Cochin will grace the occasion
The local community & working professionals numbering a few thousands from within the city are anticipated to visit the exhibition & the demos during the whole event
