A 2015 French class

My Classroom:

• Layout is important- tables in groups to facilitate group work and oral work

• Décor- stimulating work on walls, French flags, bunting, posters etc

• Atmosphere- where we respect one another and where we use the target language where at all possible- “Ici on parle français” on door.

• Notice Board- with “les infos en France” et partout dans le monde. To promote a further awareness of what is happening not just in France but around the world – bring Dev Ed into the class.

• Rules in French up on the wall to serve as a reminder.

In my French classes I am mindful and aware of:

• ICT- constantly researching topics and using fun and interactive websites online to promote learning. Useful websites are: Duolingo.com, linguascope.com, frenchteachers.net, Tes.co.uk, scoilnet.com, visuwords.com,googletreks.com, Pinterest.com French.ie, classtools.com (this list is certainly not exhaustive but the ones I use the most)
