Rationale of Project Work

a learning experience which

aims to provide the opportunity

to synthesize knowledge from

various areas of learning, and

critically and creatively apply it

to real life situations.

Some basic facts

• Compulsory, examinable H1

coursework subject

• Maximum 10 points used in the

computation of rank points for

local university admission.

• Students are assigned to groups of

4 or 5 by their Supervising Tutor (ST)

• Students are NOT allowed to

choose their own group members.

• Most discussions/ consultations/

conferences are done outside

lessons

WHO do they work with?

Project Task

Students are expected to

• gather information from suitable sources to generate and substantiate own findings and suggestions

• analyse and evaluate information gathered as well as their own findings and suggestions

• fulfill Task Requirements as stated
