Kale is commonly called a “superfood” because it’s packed with
so many nutrients that help keep our bodies healthy and running
smoothly. It’s a leafy vegetable that tastes sweeter if harvested after the weather turns cold. Kale is typically
dark green, but can also be shades of pink, purple or blue. You will find kale
on our menu this month in a sweet, tangy Apple Kale Salad!
