Dear Fellow Chamber Members, I cannnot believe just how quickly this year has flown by and the next Chamber year is right around the corner. I have had the distinct honor of serving the Chamber as Chairman of the Board for 2014-2015. When I was nominated I didn’t quite know what new responsibilities to expect. I quickly realized that the Chamber was not made up of the staff but everyone pulling together for one common goal and vision. There are so many people to thank that have supported me alongside the Chamber Leadership and worked with us to achieve our mission. First, I want to express my sincerest gratitude to my Executive Board, a team of great thinkers who demonstrate a true commitment to our Chamber and our community. I can’t wait to work alongside them again. Secondly, a huge “Thank You” to my Board of Directors for their dedication and support of several resolutions that were crucial to the betterment of our community. I could always depend on the Board to engage in thoughtful discussions and evaluate each measure with their personal expertise.

Lastly, the Division Chairs and Liasions are such an integral part of the life line of the chamber and I would like to take the time to let them know how much they are appreciated. They have done a phenomenal job this year of making me look good! The year has been full of fantastic events, extremely informative lunch and business programs, numerous membership success stories, and many educational and political initiatives overwhelmingly supported by our surrounding community. As one of my last requests, I ask that everyone make plans to attend the 53rd Annual Chairman’s Ball, “Masked ‘Til Midnight” to celebrate this incredible year. We will also be welcoming our incoming Chairman of the Board Roy Green with South Shore Harbour Resort along with the incoming 2015-2016 Board of Directors. It will be an unforgettable evening of elegance and a little mystery. I promise you do not want to miss it. Don’t forget your masquerade mask!
