THE CAMPAIGNLet’s Move for a Better World is a global Campaign for operators to fight the crisis regarding obesity and sedentary lifestyles in their local communities. The goal is to inspire members, their friends and family, and fellow citizens to donate their physical activity to fitness facilities, and compete in a nationwide challenge.

The Wellness Week is held at the end of May and is highlighted by international events such as the Gran Fondo Nove Colli and Rimini Triathlon competition as well as over 300 local initiatives in the fields of movement, culture, nature, sport and education.
The Wellness Valley gathers public and private stakeholders from different fields of interest and professional sectors sharing the common goal of enhancing the quality of life of all the people living or spending time in the Italian region of Romagna.

THE CHALLENGEIn this section you will find information on how to join the Campaign and launch a Challenge in your facility.

JOIN THE CHALLENGEThe Campaign runs from March 1 to March 19, 2016. In order to join you simply have to enroll and set up a Challenge in your facility.
You will be competing in a nationwide Challenge against other participating facilities. Whatever the final result, you will be a winner in your community.
COLLECT MOvEsThe ranking of the facility is determined by the total number of MOVEs collected during the Campaign from March 1 to March 19, 2016.
MOVEs are collected by members training on Technogym cardio and strength equipment connected to the mywellness® cloud.
dONATE fITNEss EqUIPMENTThe top 3 finishing facilities earn the opportunity to donate Technogym fitness equipment to a local school.

It measures both your outdoor activity and your gym training, keeping count of all the physical activity you perform every day. The faster and more often you move, the more MOVEs you collect.

Unlike calories, the Technogym MOVE is obtained from a scientific algorithm based on body displacement. It is unrelated to body weight and size and therefore offers the best means to measure and compare one’s activity level with that of friends and other members.

MOVEs are collected by your members and guests when they train on Technogym cardio and strength machines connected to the mywellness® cloud-based platform. This can be done either directly from the internet enabled equipment or via a Technogym device (the Technogym key or mywellness key) when it is plugged into UNITY™ SELF Kiosk.

TECHNOGyM APP All users of the Technogym App are invited to join the Challenge at their nearest facility and donate their physical activity. As a participating facility you must grant them free access to your services during the Campaign.
rEfErrAL CArdBy implementing a customer referral scheme, you can gain many new clients. You can offer your members a rebate on their membership, discounts on services and apparel if their referrals become members. Find the solution that fits in with your business model.

Every participating facility receives a Certificate of Achievement for contributing to the Campaign.
The top three facilities in each nation, receive an exclusive trophy and a symbolic check from Technogym for the value of the fitness products to be donated to the Benefactor.
Your local Technogym representative will get in touch with you to organize the award giving ceremony. Remember to invite local media to attend the ceremony and send out a press release.
