DESCRIPTION
The Amigos de Bolsa Chica (a local nonprofit organization in Huntington Beach) is starting up its docent class again this January and February. We welcome you to join! This is a great opportunity for local Orange County residents to learn more about the Bolsa Chica wetlands and share that knowledge with others. Space is limited. Become a Docent: Teach others about history, ecology, birds and other amazing facts of the Bolsa Chica Wetlands.
6 Classes, Wednesday evenings, 7:00 pm, January 7, 14, 21, 28,February 4 & 11.
Program includes 2 field trips to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands, led by expert teachers. The cost of the class is an Amigos Membership and $50.00
materials fee, which includes a Docent training manual & Docent photo binder. Certificate of Completion available for students.
Location: Bolsa Chica State Beach Visitor Center at the entrance to Bolsa Chica State Beach, Pacific Coast Highway, 1.5 miles south of Warner Ave.
