Snow Facts (1872-2012) On a side note, reports indicate that unofficially eleven inches of snow occurred in early December, 1886, long before records were available for the Montgomery Airport.

Since 1900 there have been 9 days on which one inch or more of snow was officially measured in Montgomery. This equates to roughly once every 12.6 years...

During this same period there have been 11 times when measureable snow occurred (that is, greater than a trace), which equates to once every 10.4 years.

KDOT Reports 1996 to 07/14

The Way Out There Future

The Future: Drones?

The Future: Quantum Computing

10/10/2014 MIT Internet Site

Bell Labs: “One of the crystals on which Bill Willett says he has detected topological qubits.”

Supercomputers will become dinosaurs!

Microsoft is positioned to be one of the first to create the quantum computer.

The Future: Graphene10/23/2014 Forbes Internet Site

A team from Graphene 3D Lab, based in Calverton, New York, has spent more than five years designing a material which can be fashioned into a battery of any shape or size using a 3D printer.

Although the patent-pending technology is only in prototype form, the batteries can already produce the same amount of power as a common AA battery.

Often described as a “miracle material”, graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice. It is 200 times stronger than steel and conducts electricity 30 times faster than silicon…
