Fenazaquin Properties

• Fenazaquin is primarily a contact miticide• It is non-systemic/not translaminar• Rapid knockdown (24 hours)• Up to 25 days control• Fenazaquin is active independent of temperature

Toxicity and Fate

• GWN-10087 shows low acute mammalian toxicityand no chronic toxicity issues:• Acute Oral LD50 - >2000 mg/kg• Acute Dermal LD50 - > 5000 mg/kg

• GWN-10087 shows favorable behavior in theenvironment• Readily degraded in soil and water through hydrolysis

and microbial degradation• Field half-life of 5 days

Environmental Toxicity

• GWN-10087 is highly toxic to fish andinvertebrates and moderately toxic to algae.

• However, GWN-10087 is not considered tocause unacceptable risk to aquatic organismsin surface water:• Tightly bound to soil so limited leaching potential• Rapidly degraded by microbes and hydrolysis
