Season 1 – approx. 40,000 cu yds!!!!! TARGET REACHED!!! GO TEAM!!!

Containment cell can hold up to 180,000 cubic yards of sediment. Dredge will be completed by fall 2013 !!!

Liner was sewn together by workers using a sewing machine during the long hot summer of 2012!!! The containment cell is the size of three football fields and is surrounded by lights so that the workers can help open the membranes in the geotubes as they are filled - all night during the dredge season.

The 2012 fall season of geo-tubes!!! Dredging will resume in the spring – approximately April 1, 2013. The geo-tubes will be stacked four high when completed.

“Big Blue” water treatment system. It is located north of Triax building on OMC Plant 2 site.

It will operate 24/5 “in-season” with maintenance on weekends and return clean water to the harbor.
