Head Coach Jerry AndersonJerryAnderson will begin his sixthseason as the head women's ten-niscoachatSt.CloudState in2011.Anderson also serves as themen'stenniscoachatSCSU,andwillbeginhis14thseasonwiththeSCSUmen'ssquadin2011.SCSU has earnedNSIC cham-pionships in 2010 and 2009 under

Anderson'sleadershipandhehasa100-44recordwiththeHus-kies. In 2010,SCSUgained its 2nd consecutiveNCAA tourna-mentbidandadvancetotheNCAA"Sweet16"afterwinningtheregionaltitlein2010.ThismarkedSCSU'sfirsttriptotheNCAA"Sweet16,"astheHuskiesposteda24-7overallrecordin2010. In 2009, SCSU earned theNSIC title in its first year ofleagueplay. TheHuskiesalso set a team recordwith 26 vic-tories (26-9) in 2009. For his efforts,Anderson gainedNSICCoachoftheYearnoticein2009. Over the past two seasons,Anderson has also seen hissquadearnITAAll-AcademicTeamawardsatSt.CloudState. Themen's teamgainednineNCC titlesunderAnderson'sleadership including the last seven consecutiveNCC crowns.Hismen's teamshavealsoearned10consecutiveNCAAtour-namentbids.Hehaswonover200dualmatchesasheadcoachoftheSCSUmen'steam. In2010,theSCSUmen'steamearnedanotherregionalbidandin2009,SCSUsetanewteamrecordfordualmeetwinsat25-3,andalsoqualifiedfortheNCAADivisionIIregionaltourna-ment. In2005,Andersonwasnamed the ITARegionCoachoftheYear and theNCCCoachof theYear. SCSUalsohostedtheNCAADivision IINorthCentralRegion tournament in2005and2009. Amember of the SCSU tennis team from 1982-1984,Andersonservedasateamcaptainduringhisseniorcampaignin 1984.AtWillmar Community College,Anderson earnedAll-Region13honorsandearneda trip to theNJCAAnationalchampionshipsin1981. AndersongraduatedfromSCSUin1984,withadegreeinphysicaleducation,aminorinathleticcoachinganddriveredu-cationcertification. Assistant Coach Larry SundbyLarry Sundby begins his 24th seasonwith the Huskies' tennis program in2011.The longtime head coach of theSCSUwomen's program,Sundby nowserves as an assistant coach for themen's andwomen's programs to headcoachJerryAnderson.Sundbysteppeddown as theSCSUwomen's coach in2005. In18seasonsatSCSUastheUni-

versity'swomen'stenniscoach,Sundbycompileda311-129recordand led theHuskies to threeNorthCentralConference titles in1988,1990and1991.HewasvotedtheNorthCentralConferenceCoachoftheYearin1988and1991.SundbyhasalsoledSCSUtoNCAADivisionIItournamentbidsin1995,2003and2004.Sundbyisinhis28thseasonoverallasahighschoolandcol-legiatetenniscoach.Asatenniscoach,his teamshavecompileda 439-171overall record. Hewas recognizedas theMinnesotaHighSchoolGirl'sClassAATennisCoachof theYear in1992. In2006,SundbyreceivedaNorthCentralConferenceHonorAward.Sundby is a professor emeritus of accounting atSt.CloudStateUniversity.

Assistant CoachScott JohnsonScottJohnsonhasbroughtvaluableexpe-rience to theSCSU tennis programoverthepast several seasons. Asavolunteercoach,Johnsonworks in theareasofsin-glesanddoublesstrategy,strokedevelop-ment and practice drilling. Johnson is afacultymemberintheCollegeofBusiness.

Assistant CoachMark MuntiferingMarkMuntifering is the tennis director atGold'sGymTennisCenterinSartell.Heisalsotheheadboys'andgirls'tenniscoachat St. CloudApollo H.S., where he hasbeen recognized as theMinnesotaHighSchool"CoachoftheYear"forbothteams.HehasalsobeenrecognizedbytheNorth-ernSectionoftheUSTAforhiscommunityvolunteerworkinpromotingtennis.
