Passkey Manager - provides a simple tool for Single Sign-On (SSO) between your website and other web-based applications

New Services
Authenticates and synchronizes user information within Centricity and Synergy with information stored on a district’s directory server (like Active Directory)
User information is maintained within an organizations directory server, rather than in the Centricity or Synergy systems, saving valuable time managing accounts in multiple systems
Synchronizes groups in Centricity and Synergy with groups in the directory server
LDAP Connector
Provides district staff, students, and stakeholders with seamless, single sign-on access to their personal library of district web applications through the district’s C2 website◦ SIS portals, grade books, library systems, study
sites, and more…. The PassKey wizard is a tool used to
streamline the process of creating custom PassKeys.
Districts can effectively track which services are being utilized or requested via usage reports

Break Time
Schedules were sent to all districts with an assigned upgrade month◦ If you have a question/concern about your
assigned month, call (716) 821-7355. All WTW district upgrades will be
completed by August 2012◦ There may be an opportunity to accelerate the
schedule in 2012
Upgrade Update
Districts will be contacted two months prior to their upgrade to begin planning◦ For example, if you are scheduled to upgrade in
January, you will be contacted the 1st week of November with the details of your upgrade.
Typical Timeframe◦ Two weeks with minimal editing◦ Larger districts may take slightly longer
Upgrade Process
Typical Timeline◦ Migration of Data – 4-5 days ◦ Template Applied – 1 day◦ Schoolwires Review – 2-3 days◦ WNYRIC Review – 3-5 days
Site Director needs to be available
The site will not experience downtime, however minimal editing should be done during this time.
Upgrade Process
District Pre-Upgrade To Do’s:◦ Go through Files/Folders to delete unused files
or images◦ Delete any unused pages◦ Delete users who have not logged into the Site
Manager in the last two years◦ Delete unnecessary templates from Styler◦ Ensure content does not exceed standard
practice Ex: Tables exceeding 680 px, size 48 font, etc.
Upgrade Process
Provide internal communication to staff◦ Communicate the date of the upgrade◦ Remind your staff to make minimal changes to
your website during upgrade◦ Provide a list of new features◦ Remind staff of training resources
WTW staff will provide you with a sample communication
