Chair determined that the motion is technical and therefore did not pass.

Fails on grounds of not obtaining 75%

Point of order from Jim Mollenauer regarding the result of the vote on the motion. His argument is that the reasonis not technical but editorial, as the reason has no impact on the development of the text of the standard. The chairdisagreed arguing that the reason does have impact, as it will go back to the commenter, who may decided toupdated his comment or reasoning, as well as to RevCom, who will be reviewing the rejected comments anddetermine if the draft is ready for the SA committee.

Rémi,

I'm sorry for the delay; I missed this yesterday.I have looked over the proposed resolutions and found most to be insufficient.

I would be happy to work closely with the editor, in an attempt to resolve the submittedcomments.I suspect that a verbal discussion would be more effective than point-counter-point emaildiscussions.

Therefore, my vote remains disapprove.

Remi,

I got a chance to go thorugh comment 257 and resolution. I disapproved my vote based onPAR violation and removal of section 8.4.4.7. My suggestion was to bring back sec 8.4.4.7in standard which is not in line with resolution. so, I will continue my vote asDisapprove....

Let me know if you need any further clarifications....
