Until 1948, 600,000 Zionist settlers immigrated to Palestine and owned less than 8% of land.

1916 - Great Britain occupied Palestine.

1917 - Balfour Declaration:Great Britain decided to promise part of Palestine to the European Zionists movement as a gift to build there state on.

1918 - Palestine became a British mandate colony.

1919 – the “Jaffa Revolution” initiated Palestinian resistance. Two more uprisings followed in 1929 & 1931-1936.

"Zionist colonization must either be terminated or carried out against the wishes of the native population. This colonization can, therefore, be continued and make progress only under the protection of a power independent of the native population - an iron wall, which will be in a position to resist the pressure to the native population. This is our policy towards the Arabs..."

The foundation of Israel on the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

Over 531 villages are destroyed.800,000 Palestinians are expelled out of a total population of 2,500,000.

The Creation of Israel:

- Against the right to self-determination of the Palestinian people, in 1947 the UN passes a resolution that grants 49% of Palestine to the Zionist settlers.

- In 1948, the Zionist movement conquers 20,850 Km2 (78% of Palestine) using massacres and fire against the Palestinian population.

- The colonizing countries (USA, Russia and European countries) recognize “the State of Israel” while most of the global south refuses to do so.

- The colonizing countries pressure the global south to recognize Israel and to accept it as a UN member state.

- 22% of historical Palestine was left for the Palestinians (70% of population in 1948) as what is known as “West Bank & Gaza”.

-800,000 Palestinian refugees are scattered in different countries around Palestine and thousands are killed.

West Bank and Gaza

- Since the mid 50s Palestinian resistance starts to form among the Palestinian refugees.

- In 1967, Israel occupies the West Bank, Gaza, Sinai (in Egypt) and the Golan Heights (in Syria)

-Palestinian resistance continues from outside until 1983.

The State ideology is getting clearer:

"We have to kill all the Palestinians unless they are resigned to live here as slaves."

But the Palestinian Resistance Continues:

The “Intifada”:

A huge popular grassroots movement against the Occupation starts in 1987 and lasts until 1994.

In September 2000 the Palestinian rise up again:

The “Second Intifada” starts

… and yes Palestinians do exist, so Palestine will resist

until Freedom!
