TICAD-P’Axion Forum TICAD Partnership in Action Forum
Japan will also host the 4th edition of TICAD, Tokyo International Conference on African
Development in May 2008, which will also be the year of exchange between Africa and Japan.
TICAD-P’Axion Forum is a gathering of intellectuals, business people, NGOs and organizations
involved in socio-development that come together to think, discuss and propose ways to enhance
Asia-Africa partnership and cooperation aiming at promoting Africa’s sustainable socio-economic
development. The forum stresses the necessity of a development owned by Africans, which
reflects and answers the needs of Africans. The first edition of TICAD-P’Axion Forum will aim at
advacncing knowledge and knowledge-sharing on the following topics:
