NOVEMBER IS NATIONAL LUNG CANCER AWARENESS MONTH Lung Cancer is a tragic disease that takes a terrible toll on those with the disease, as well as their loved ones. Lung cancer is the leading cancer killer in both men and women in the United States . In fact, more people die from lung cancer than any other type of cancer. The American Lung Associ-ation has long been the leader in the fight against lung cancer and is taking new steps to help both patients and their families. Quitting smoking is the single most important step a smoker can take to reduce their risk for lung cancer. Quitting can be tough but smokers don't have to quit alone. Smoking cessation programs have helped smokers quit for nearly 30 years. Freedom From Smoking and Not-On-Tobacco are two programs available to help adult and teen smok-ers quit for good. The Quitter in You program is designed to help people who have tried to quit before see each attempt as a step to success, not a failure. Speak with your Primary care Physician regarding your risks for Lung Cancer and Lung Disease .

plan for the future of Catholic schools in Atlanta. Your perspectives pertaining to Catholic schools are being sought in this market research survey. Please help shape this important planning endeavor by participating in the survey. Each family is invited to complete the survey only once, so if you have done so, the OCS thanks you for your assistance. Finally, as this is market research, please realize there are a couple of responses that may disqualify you from completing the survey; in this event, the OCS thanks you for your efforts to assist them.
