Changes after Vatican II (1962-1965)

• 1967 - temporary forward altar

• 1970 –- font relocated• later - altar permanently moved forward, pulpit

removed, lectern plinths built, some benches removed, floodlights fitted as uplighters then turned over, reconciliation room created.

Recent improvements

• 2012: rewiring, re-lighting, temporary re-ordering (forward altar, rearrange benches), font relocated, confessionals converted to store rooms, stations moved into side aisles, pointing, repair to big window, disabled toilet.

• 2013: marble altar brought forward, altar rails moved back, new marble lectern, new flooring, redecoration.
