Denmark called for a progress report on the implementation of the IEE at the next session of the ExB

Evaluation Plan and the Independent External Evaluation of UNESCO

Evaluations of all 14 Strategic Programme Objectives (SPOs) completed

Findings contributed to the Independent External Evaluation (IEE)

Evaluation plan for 2011 focuses on strategic areas identified by the IEE: inter alia Liaison Offices, National Commissions, Prizes, Category II Institutes, ICTP, Intercultural Dialogue, Priority Africa, Priority Gender Equality

Improved visibility of UNESCO in New York and involvement in UN working groups

Geneva Liaison Office’s contribution to post-conflict post-disaster (PCPD) activities valued
