Project Concept• This project will be a wearable glove which

can detect hand movements for use as an input device.

• The device will use accelerometer data to detect hand movement and use the Telos Mote to wirelessly communicate this data.

• Ideally, we’d like to be able to detect finger movement/positioning and to be able to connect this device via Bluetooth to the Nintendo Wii.

Requirements• Take accelerometer data and interpret it

into movements• Detect finger movements/positioning with

push buttons, photoelectric sensors, magnetic sensors (?)

• Read and interpret data in under 50 ms• Glove and all gear should weigh under 2

lbs• Glove should stay together under extreme

Wii use.
