Special features include extra generous ceiling heights, 2.1 metre high bespoke internal doors on the ground floor, custom-designed skirting boards and architraves, floor to ceiling custom built-in cabinetry, ceiling features and wall alcoves, Velux windows and an abundance of storage.
Kitchen and Pantry/Utility
The internal finishes and colour scheme have also been designed by Wall Morris Design. Walls and ceilings are decorated throughout in a tonal paint colour scheme with contrasting dark accents and dark bronze finishes.
The double-height stairs consist of a hand-painted, hardwood staircase with carpet runner and a hand-carved, stained hardwood handrail with storage cupboards beneath and an oversized velux window above, which floods the space with light.
The bespoke three-panel internal doors are extra high, hand-painted in off-black and finished with dark bronze ironmongery and handles.
Flooring is provided throughout the house. Flooring consists of a combination of wide-plank engineered oak flooring, by Trunk Surfaces, high-specification porcelain tile at bathroom floors, luxurious thick-pile carpets at bedrooms and an inset matwell at the hall door.
The bathrooms and en-suites are fully fitted with floor-to-ceiling porcelain tile throughout and with crayon tile feature walls. Tapware, accessories, heated towel rails and tile trim are all in a contrasting black finish. Other features includes wall-hung sink vanities, toilets, flush plates and concealed cisterns. The shower alcoves are in keeping with the dark contemporary design with black tap wear and black shower panels. Bathroom layouts include built-in storage alcoves with lighting, mirrors with Demista mirror heat-pads and underfloor Devi heat mats on timer switches.
Windows are by Aru Joinery with double-glazed, off-black, painted, timber sash windows at the front of the house and double-glazed alu-clad windows and full-width, sliding doors at the rear of the house. The entrance door and surround was re-commissioned to match the classical design of the original house with feature pillars and fanlight above and with new matt bronze ironmongery to tie in with the interior of the house. Three-point locking system included.
The house has a high degree of insulation throughout walls, roofs and floors. An under-floor heating system is installed on the ground floor with radiators at first floor. The heating system to each floor is thermostatically controlled with each room on the ground floor zoned having its own thermostatic control. There is an innovative ‘A’-Class air-to-water heating system by Daikin, providing energy-efficient central heating and hot water, at proven reduced energy cost against current market alternatives.
There is a high quality electrical finish throughout with multi-point dimmable switching. The house is wired with CAT 5 data cabling (for internet/broadband) to all rooms throughout. There are multiple, black nickel electrical sockets and switch plates throughout each room. There are recessed LED down lighters throughout, wiring for future decorative fittings and sensor lights at built-incupboards. Exterior lighting is a mixture of matt black and dark bronze. The house includes an intruder alarm, multiple TV/broadband providers and free-to-air with multiple points provided. There are mains powered smoke detector alarms and carbon monoxide alarms.
The house has a BER A3 Energy Rating.

WardrobesEach bedroom is custom designed and fitted with floor to ceiling, hand-crafted wardrobes. Art-deco inspired, hand-painted finish with matt bronze handles, soft-closing doors. The cabinetry internals have a dark-grained finish to tie in with the contrasting colour scheme and tone of the house and all come with internal soft-close drawers and sensor lighting.
