What is the Communication?

Process of Communication.

Communication can be define as the exchange of information, ideas, and knowledge between the sender and the receiver through an accepted code of symbols.

GENERAL COMMUNICATION

• The communication in which participants not only exchange information, news, ideas and feelings but also create and share their views about any general topic they are communicating.

• It basically involves any interaction between arbitrary people discussing routine topic, regardless of the mode of communication .

TECHNICAL COMMUNICATION

• Technical communication is a means to convey scientific, engineering, or other technical information.

• Technical Communication defines the field as any form of communication that focuses on technical or specialized topics, communicates specifically by using technology or provides instructions on how to do something.

• The definition of technical communication, the overarching goal of the practice is to create easily accessible information for a specific audience

● Technical communicators have to identify the audience and their information needs.

● A non-technical audience might misunderstand or not even read a document that is heavy with jargon—while a technical audience might crave detail critical to their work.
