I was pleased to be involved with the Graduate Programme where I discussed the issues and challenges associated with project delivery, I was extremely impressed with the fresh thinking and positive approach that resulted from the workshop. There were some really good innovative ideas which we intend to roll-out through the rest of the business through our Technical Working Group and Project Leadership Team.

Our graduate programme is a great initiative. We have sessions which include exercises, discussions and presentations that are helping us to develop our skills, meet colleagues and have a broader view of what the business does (the individual teams and overall business). We also have the chance to identify and develop solutions to different challenges. Recently, I had the privilege of attending the Construction Week Awards as a graduate representative and I had a wonderful time. It was really exciting for me to participate in this event, seated next to the senior management and enjoying the nice atmosphere. This event was extremely motivating for me from a professional point of view and, after we won four prizes, I felt really proud to be part of it all.

The graduate training programme is helping me to understand the Company from outside my discipline, it gives me the opportunity to meet and socialise with like-minded people from different areas of the company. It is great to understand what other people are doing and the different challenges they face in day to day work life. Meeting senior members of staff and getting guidance on career paths will help aid my development. To have such a vast amount of industry knowledge at the click of a button is fantastic!

It was great to win the business initiative graduate team challenge and have the opportunity to attend the graduate conference in the UK. It was an insightful experience and really goes to show the global reach of our business. The graduate programme is a great initiative that supplements our professional growth and shows that our company is dedicated to the development of its employees.
