In the 5th decade of the 20th century, two states Pakistan and Israelcame into being on the basis of their religious dogmas viz., Islam andJudaism. Both the countries have a number of similarities, and out ofthose, but not exhaustive, their basic documents---ObjectivesResolution and Proclamation of Independence respectively---have aremarkable significance, and are the central point of this discourse.The author, in this article, concluded that political, judicial and legalconsensus of opinion in both the countries, unanimously have acceptedthat these basic documents fulfil the constitutional requirements ofboth the countries.
