Equal Squeeze, Mayday Parade, The Maine

‘12 HOMECOMING CONCERT

The opening band for the Homecoming concert on October 18 was a local band from Illinois, Equal Squeeze. Equal Squeeze has been together for two

years and is composed of five members ranging in age from 16 to 23.

Mayday Parade was the second act of the night. The lead vocalist, Derek Sander,

crooned fan favorites such as “Jersey” and “Miserable at

Best.” Mayday Parade released their first album in

2006. The band is from Tallahassee, Florida

The Maine, a rock band from Arizona, was the third and final band to perform. The

Maine formed in 2007 and consists of five members. Their website provides member information, videos, fan pictures and blogs
