3Giveuseachdayourdailybread.

4Forgiveusoursins,forwealsoforgiveeveryonewhosinsagainstus.

7Andsupposetheoneinsideanswers,‘Don’tbotherme.

Thedoorisalreadylocked,andmychildrenandIareinbed.Ican’tgetupandgiveyouanything.’

8Itellyou,eventhoughhewillnotgetupandgiveyouthebreadbecauseoffriendship,

yetbecauseofyourshamelessaudacityhewillsurelygetupandgiveyouasmuchasyouneed.

knockandthedoorwillbeopenedtoyou.

10Foreveryonewhoasksreceives;theonewhoseeksfinds;

andtotheonewhoknocks,thedoorwillbeopened.

howmuchmorewillyourFatherinheavengivetheHolySpirittothosewhoaskhim!”
