Bishop Genieve Blackwell, in the Diocese of Melbourne.
A Working Bee to decorate the Christmas tree and prepare the Church and ground for Christmas will be held next Saturday 16 December
from 9.30am—12.30pm.
HEARING AID LOOP Please adjust your T Switch for hearing. VISITORS are most welcome at St George’s. Please introduce yourself to the clergy and collect the “Welcome” leaflet at the entry bench inside the church. Gluten free wafers are available; please advise the clergy or a welcomer before the service. CAR PARKING for worship services. It would be appreciated if you leave the car spaces closest to the Church for the less agile worshippers. It helps older parishioners if you park behind the Church when coming to worship, unless you need to be closer.

FIRE DRILLS SUCCESSFUL We thank all parishioners who participated in the fire drills on
Sunday 3 December. Many useful comments were handed in afterwards
and these will help make improvements for next year’s drill—

Elover is an ordinand for the Episcopal Church in the Philippines, completing her studies at St Andrew’s Theological College in Manilla. She spent 6 weeks in the parish in the winter of the sends greetings to the people of St George’s for the coming Christmas season.
SUMMER SCHOOL returns for third year.
Keep the dates 23-25 January free for the Summer School in
theology. The topics will include recent sociological
research in Australia on church participation; Bach, Luther and
the Continental reformation, and the treasures still be
gleaned from St Benedict’s 6th century Rule of Life.
Come for one or all three days 10am– 3pm with morning tea
and lunches included. Full details and booking forms will
