It was the purpose of the original Ritual Committee to compile a book

for the membership of the Marine Corps League on the proper procedures

for opening and closing meetings; to conduct initiations and installations;

and to conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies befitting our departed

Marines, FMF Navy Corpsmen and FMF Navy Chaplains.

Introduced at the National Staff Meeting, Arlington, VA, February 21,

1965, this Ritual was adopted in its entirety by a unanimous vote of the

National Staff.

Officers of Detachments and Ritualistic Teams ( where used), are asked

to study their parts carefully, so that when a ceremony is to be conducted,

it will be with the dignity befitting the Marine Corps League.
