Where we started. . .theGreen is a new Treasury-wide online experience

………………………………………………………………………………………………..……………………………………………………………………………………………………..……………………………………………………………………………………………………..……………………………………………………………………………………………………..……

Where we started. . .

• By 2011, the existing family of Treasury

intranets and portals consisted of multiple

location and functional sites with varied

branding, navigation, and multiple sign-on

requirements.

• While growing in number, size and

content, the sites applied a hierarchical

structure that did not reflect Treasury’s

operational and user requirements.

• The effect was:

o Numerous bloated sites

o Poor content retrieval

o Inefficient search

o “Link farms” that discouraged

adoption and employee engagement

o Disengagement and poor adoption

by Treasury’s 150,000(+) employees.

Where we are going . . .theGreen is a new Treasury-wide online experience
