DESCRIPTION
The city of Santa Clarita wanted to improve medians in a heavy industrial area. I created the digital drawing biased on Santa Clarita Arial website. I verified the site measurements and took site condition notes. I imported the new site measurements into the AutoCAD base. My role in the project was to create a preliminary landscape design for city review and make design changes based on the review. I was involved in city review and creating the final presentation.

The city of Santa Clarita wanted to improve medians in a heavy industrial area. I created the digital drawing biased on Santa Clarita Arial website. I verified the site measurements and took site condition notes. I imported the new site measurements into the AutoCAD base. My role in the project was to create a preliminary landscape design for city review and make design changes based on the review. I was involved in city review and creating the final presentation.
PreliminaryI designed the layout for the final presentation. The presentation included a planting legend and plant images on each sheet. I helped select the plants and designed the planting layout per instructions from the Principle. I worked closely with the Principle to give the area a unique feel and fit in the overall city landscape design for medians.
Construction Documents My role was to convert the preliminary design into Construction Documents. I used the information from site visits and recommendations from city review to build the Construction Document sheets for building the medians.
Cover Sheet: Shows city and Landscape Architecture information, notes for construction, sheet index, and vicinity map I created Hardscape Layout and Planting Plan: Shows existing conditions, new hardscape, and landscape areas to remain or be built.
