We have achieved the Eco-Schools
Bronze and Silver Awards.
The Comenius group have introduced
Green Merits in the school system which
you get for carrying out sustainable
activities.
We are promoting paper recycling around the
school and have encouraged student to
reuse, reduce and recycle.
We did textile recycling
and managed to collect
and recycle a total of
311kg of old clothes.
We went to the Met
Office and learnt about
how weather data is
collected and how the
climate is changing.
We planted 60 trees
around the school site.
The school website
informs the whole
school population about
the Comenius Project.
We now have solar
panels installed on our
newly built sports
centre/gym.
We sent our old
computers to our link
school in Ghana, Africa.
Keeping the local area free of litter.
