The ProblemThe Custer County Community Table is a shared effort bycommunity volunteers in the Miles City, MT area.

Funding for this project (time, money, and other resources)is limited to local donations from a few sources at this time.

There is limited public awareness of the Miles City SoupKitchen within Custer County.

More people should take social responsibility within theircommunity through volunteering time and resources.

A County-Wide Community Turkey Hunt Could Potentially Raise Money For the

Soup Kitchen and Be Fun For All

Turkey Hunting in Custer County Turkey hunting is a popular sport among the 12,000

residents in the communities of Miles City, Kinsey, Ismay, and Volberg.

Turkey hunting also appeals to the majority of people inthese areas regardless of age, gender, social class, etc.

Why not create a turkey hunting app that will get theattention of local people to come together and support theircommunity?

How This Will Work Part 1

A turkey hunting app will be created in the tradition ofNintendo’s Duck Hunt from around 1985. The game willhave surreal graphics, an incredible layout of hills, trees, rivers, and grasslands that players must navigate through inorder to shoot turkeys.

The target audience who may participate is 10 years of ageand up.

The contest will take place twice each month during Tuesdayevenings via computer, Ipad, smartphone, and other mobiledevices.

How This Will Work Part 2

The cost of playing the game is $4.00 per person per session.

The person or (team) who shoot the most turkeys during each90 min. session hunt will be the winner(s). A $100.00 giftcertificate to Cabela’s will be awarded to the winner(s) of eachbi-monthly contest

The winner(s) of each competition will be announced, as wellas the fact that proceeds generated are going to the Miles CitySoup Kitchen. This will create good public awareness.

Revenue Generated

Suppose only 5% of the population of Custer Countyparticipates in the turkey hunt at any given time.

(($4.00 * 0.05 * 12,000 ) – 100) = $2,300

If the game is played twice a month this generate$4,600 during a month

If this App is a Success…..

It may be eventually be promoted to a broadertarget market than Custer County, such as the stateof Montana, or it may be promoted usingpsychographics on a global level. This wouldgenerate the most proceeds of all.
