• Contact Board members, LIG committee chairs for speaker opportunities

• Have your manager send a reference to the appropriate HDI – itSMF USA chair persons

• Get placed on speaker lists

• Write articles, white papers, case studies

• Attend other conferences where you want to speak – volunteer and get to know the staff
